What finished looks like

Most people never notice a perfect install. Everyone notices a bad one.

Installing a luxury appliance package is finish carpentry, appliance know-how and careful heavy lifting in one. This is what you should expect when it's done right:

  • Panels flush with the cabinetry, with even reveals all the way around
  • Doors that swing, close and seal the way the manufacturer intended
  • Level, anchored and secured, with anti-tip brackets and no rocking
  • Water, gas and venting connected cleanly and tested before I leave
  • Floors, cabinets and finishes protected the whole time
  • A job number, a care page, and photos of everything I did

What I do

High-end appliances are only as good as the install. I take care of the details that make a luxury kitchen look finished: platforms, cleats, panel alignment, anti-tip anchoring and a proper test before I leave.

Installation

Built-in & luxury appliance installs

Flush, level, anchored and tested, with custom panels that line up with your cabinetry.

  • Column refrigerators & freezers
  • Panel-ready fridges, dishwasher drawers & under-counter units
  • Wall ovens, ranges, cooktops & hoods
  • Custom wood panels, shims & designer handles
  • Opening trims, cleats & base platforms

Make It Right

Something not right with your install?

Panels that don't line up, uneven gaps, doors that won't seal, a unit that rocks or isn't anchored. I find out why and fix it properly, often working around panels that have already been drilled.

  • Panel alignment & even reveals
  • Door swing, closing & seal
  • Leveling, anchoring & anti-tip
  • Trim, cleats & platforms redone
  • Photos and a written summary of the fix

It starts with an assessment: I look, photograph and give you one flat price to make it right. The assessment fee comes off the price when you book.

Restoration

Sub-Zero restoration & recommissioning

A 10-year-old Sub-Zero usually has plenty of life left. Restoration costs a fraction of replacement.

  • Full teardown, deep clean & mold remediation
  • New OEM door & drawer gaskets
  • Rust & corrosion repair with food-safe epoxy
  • Defrost drain clearing, coil & drain pan cleaning
  • Amperage draw check & temperature pull-down test

How it works

Every kitchen is quoted flat, up front, after I see the plan. No hourly meter.

Tell me about it

Send the appliance list or a few photos of the openings. I'll text you back, usually the same day.

Check it before install day

For a new build or remodel, a Pre-Install Workup measures every opening against the spec sheets and catches problems while they're still cheap to fix.

Installed right

Flush, level, sealed and tested, with your home protected the whole time.

Documented

You get a job number, photos, and a care page with your models, serials and care tips.

Scott Townsley, owner of Install KC

Meet Scott

I'm Scott Townsley, owner of Install KC and an Air Force Reserve veteran. Every job is done by me, not a rotating crew, so the person you talk to is the person who shows up.

I focus on the installs most crews avoid: panel-ready and integrated units, tight custom openings, and older Sub-Zeros worth saving. I measure twice, level everything, and test before I leave.

Protect the investment

You spent months choosing these appliances. Installation is the part you'll look at every day. I take the time to get panels flush, doors sealing and everything level, and I leave you with a record of the whole job.

Fewer callbacks

The appliances go in last, and that's when every cabinet shortcut shows up. I catch it before install day, fix what can be fixed on site, and finish so your punch list doesn't come back to you. You get photos, a job report, and a sub who answers the phone.
